Reflection
こんにちは!
After half a semester and many pronunciation exercises and speaking practice, I have noticed that my intonation, pitch, speed have all improved. Specifically, anime shadowing has made my rhythm very successful. I have also been going to the Japanese language tables every week to practice conversing with people. I have been watching anime at least 3 times a week, I have gone to office hours a couple of times, and I speak Japanese with my friends who do not know Japanese. My goals and activities remain the same, and I hope to achieve them some day.

Goals:
Goals:
- To be able to correctly pronounce all the words in Japanese (or at least most of them).
- To understand when someone is speaking in Japanese, even if they speak quickly.
- To be able to speak as quickly, and to reduce my stuttering or pauses as much as possible.
- Basically, to sound as fluent as possible (hopefully by the end of the year).
Activities to achieve my goals:
- Go to Japanese Speaking Tables every week for dinner and speak with as many people as I can.
- Go to Shibata-sensee's office hours whenever I can (it's hard because of my schedule).
- Practice the speaking exercises at least 10 minutes every day.
- Practice shadowing anime (my favorite!!) at least 10 minutes every week.
- Go to anime club at least once a week for at least an hour and watch lots of anime!
- Speak Japanese with everyone (even people who don't understand) once a day.
