こんにちは!

Goals:

  • To be able to correctly pronounce all the words in Japanese (or at least most of them).
  • To understand when someone is speaking in Japanese, even if they speak quickly.
  • To be able to speak as quickly, and to reduce my stuttering or pauses as much as possible.
  • Basically, to sound as fluent as possible (hopefully by the end of the year).

Activities to achieve my goals:

  • Go to Japanese Speaking Tables every week for dinner and speak with as many people as I can.
  • Go to Shibata-sensee's office hours whenever I can (it's hard because of my schedule).
  • Practice the speaking exercises at least 10 minutes every day.
  • Practice shadowing anime (my favorite!!) at least 10 minutes every week.
  • Go to anime club at least once a week for at least an hour and watch lots of anime!
  • Speak Japanese with everyone (even people who don't understand) once a day.

  1. こんにちは。I thought the anime shadowing was challenging but also really fun. Speaking Japanese with people who don't understand you sounds interesting. がんばって!
